Richard Sullivan is entering his third season as a coach with the Warhawks’ varsity team ... Serves as as the team’s catchers coach ... Prior to joining Madison’s staff, was the head varsity baseball coach at George C. Marshall High from 2001-04 ... Also served as Marshall’s junior varsity head coach prior to coaching the Statesmen varsity squad ... Coached in the Falls Church Little League from 1974-92, winning 14 league championships and one district title ... Won two league championships as a coach with the Arlington Babe Ruth League from 1993-95, then coached the Falls Church American Legion Post 225 team for four seasons prior to coaching at Marshall ... Played baseball at Marshall and later in the Industrial League of Northern Virginia for 20 years ... Warhawks have compiled a 32-13 (.711) since he joined the staff in 2005 ... Resides in Front Royal with his wife, Dottie ... Has one daughter, Natalie (age 28) and two sons, Tony (26) and Jason (24).
