Bobby Robeson is entering his 10th season as a coach with the Warhawks’ varsity team ... Has helped to develop a number of all-district and all-region players in his decade serving under head varsity coach Mark “Pudge” Gjormand ... Has been a fixture on Madison’s staff as the team’s outfielders and first-base coach ... Son, Robbie, is in his first season as the Warhawks’ head junior varsity coach, his fourth season as a coach at Madison and was an all-district shortstop at the school prior to moving on and playing at Salisbury University in Maryland ... Holds a bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University, and a master’s degree from the University of Virginia ... Was the head of the physical education department at Thoreau Middle School in Vienna before retiring in 2004 ... Was the first coach of the Vienna Mustangs travel team ... Warhawks have compiled a 162-60 (.730) overall record and won five Liberty District championships since he joined the staff in 1998 ... Currently resides in Vienna with his wife, Julie, the former director of guidance at Madison.
