Jimmy Goldsmith is entering his sixth season as a coach with the Warhawks, his second as a varsity assistant ... Works with the team’s infielders ... Also served as Madison’s junior varsity head coach from 1997-2000 ... Was the head varsity coach at Falls Church High from 2001-05, compiling a 36-70 (.340) record during his tenure with the Jaguars ... His Falls Church team played Madison in the Northern Region Tournament during the Warhawks’ undefeated 2002 campaign ... A 1986 Madison alum, he grew up in Vienna and played in the Vienna Little League, the Vienna Babe Ruth Baseball League and for the Vienna American Legion Post 180 team ... Also coaches his sons’ Vienna Little League team, and helps run youth football camps during the offseason ... Received his bachelor’s degree from Radford University ... Resides in Vienna with his wife, Monica, and their four children: daughters Hallie (age 11) and Kayla (5) and sons Jimmy (9) and Joey (8).
