Bob Cesca is entering his 12th season as a coach with the Warhawks’ junior varsity team ... Came to the program the same year as varsity head coach Mark “Pudge” Gjormand took the reigns of the program in 1996 ... Previously coached for 20 years in the Annandale Little League and Babe Ruth League ... Played baseball in high school and has played men’s league softball for 50 years ... Has helped produce dozens of all-district and all-region players, several of whom have moved on to play in college ... Is known for helping to develop character in Madison’s players, and is a proven leader by example ... Is a retired government worker and resides in Tyson’s Corner ... Has three sons, Bob, Brian and Jim ... Cesca on 2007 team: “Encourage the players to work hard, develop their skills and become an contributor to an outstanding baseball program.”
