At Madison, Ryan was a member of the JV Warhawks as a freshman and sophomore. He was a catcher on the undefeated 2004 JV Warhawks as they won the District. Last year Ryan saw action for the Varsity Warhawks as a catcher, designated hitter and pinch hitter. Ryan is a three-time Varsity Warhawk football letterman. He also wrestled as a freshman on both JV and Varsity. He looks forward to a good senior season with the Varsity Warhawks this season as a catcher and outfielder.

Coach Gjormand on Ryan: "Ryan is a second-year letterman after helping to lead the Warhawks football team to the regional playoffs last fall. He returns this spring and brings leadership and maturity to our senior class. Ryan adds further depth and shows more good power with the stick."
