He was a member of the Vienna American All-star team that won the State Championship and finished third in the Southeast US tourney. He has played summer baseball for the Vienna Mustangs since Little League.

At Madison, Brig started as the shortstop for the 2005 District Champion JV Warhawks and batted .440 for the season. He moves up to varsity as a switch-hitting sophomore infielder and will add quality depth to the Warhawks veteran infield. Brig has excellent baseball instincts and will help the Warhawks in many ways.

Brig's Baseball History

Brig's thoughts on the Season: "Whatever it takes."

Coach Gjormand on Brig: " Brig enters his first season as a varsity player. He is a switch-hitting sophomore who brings a very good glove to our middle infield. Brig has worked very hard to put himself in position to compete for a middle infield spot. He gives us great depth at those positions and as he gets more comfortable at the plate, he will contribute to this year’s success. I’m really excited about Brig, he’s a tough kid who loves to compete. He’s going to be a great player for us in due time."
