School and Academic Recognition:

Brad was an excellent lacrosse player who had played Little League at a younger age. He began pitching for the Vienna Mustangs as a 13 year-old, quickly showing promise as a pitcher and outfielder. Brad continued to play for the Mustangs and developed over the years. Last summer he was a key member of the staff that won the Consolation Bracket of the CABA U15 Tournament.

As a freshman, Brad was a pitcher on the undefeated 2004 JV Warhawks that won the District. He joins the Varsity Warhawks as a hard throwing right-hander who is finishing up his rehab work from an off-season injury. Brad is the younger brother of former Warhawks greats Alan and Chris Wimmer. He will help the Warhawks keep up their tradition of excellence for years to come.

Brad's thoughts on the Season: "Play the Game. Don't let the game play you! "

Coach Gjormand on Brad: "Brad is currently recovering from an off-season injury, but should be good to go after spring break.  After a successful freshman year on the JV, Brad is working hard to improve his game and will also see some time on the mound for the JV.  He is a big kid who is still growing and has some pop on his fast ball.  We are excited for Brad to get healthy."
