He joined the Vienna Mustangs as a 13 year old and was a key member of the 14 year old Vienna Mustangs who finished sixth in the AAU National Championships. Daniel has remained in the Mustangs summer program and played last summer for the Old Dominion League's  Vienna Mustangs.

Daniel was a member of the JV Warhawks as a freshman and as a sophomore and helped lead the JV Warhawks to their undefeated District Championship in 2004. He now joins the Varsity Warhawks for his junior season after rehabbing from an arm injury. Daniel is a power hitting left hander who could drive in some runs for the young Warhawks attack.

2005Update:   Daniel missed the 2005 season due to injuries.

Daniel's thoughts on the Season: "The hard off-season work will pay off for another successful season."

Coach Gjormand on Daniel: "Dan  joins the Varsity following a long off-season of rehabilitation on his shoulder after surgery for a torn labrum in the fall. As Dan works to get his shoulder back into playing shape, it is our hope to have him healthy for the end of the season. Dan will add power to our line-up if we can get him back to full heath."
