Height: 5'11" Weight: 225 Throws: Right Bats: Right GPA: 3.2 Colleges Interested in attending: University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina School and Academic Recognition: Varsity Baseball letter Arman has played baseball in Vienna since he was 5 years old. He was an all-star every year and starred for the Indians in the Vienna Little League. As a 12 year-old, Arman was a key leader and star for the All-star team that won the State Championship and finished third in the Southeast United States, just behind the World Champions from Florida. Arman played up for the 14 Year-old Mustangs when he was 13 serving as the clean-up hitter and a key pitcher for the team that finished sixth in the AAU National Championship Tournament in Orlando. Arman was a key player for the Vienna Mustangs as they finished in 3rd place of the Summer High School Tourney in Louisville, KY last summer. He plays football for the Warhawks and VYI basketball. Arman made the Warhawks varsity as a freshman. He hit a home run in the Spring Break Tournament in Charleston, SC as a freshman and was a member of the 2004 Liberty District Championship team. Arman could be a key Warhawk player with his bat and glove as a first baseman and as a RHP during his sophomore season. Arman's brothers Aryan and Kevan starred on past Warhawks teams. He will help the Warhawks for several years.
Arman's thoughts on the Season: "It is time for everyone to step up and prove themselves." Coach Gjormand on Arman: "Arman returns for his sophomore season after getting a good deal of quality at bats as a freshman. Arman enters this season working at first base and will see some time on the mound. At the plate, he has the potential to drive in a lot of runs in the middle of our line-up." |
