Ryan has played baseball in Vienna since he was seven years old. Ryan played Vienna Little League for the Astros and was a four time all-star. His last Astros team won the Colonial League Championship. Ryan played d Babe Ruth as a 13 year-old and was an All-star. He joined the Vienna Mustangs and was a key member of the team that finished sixth in the AAU National Championships. Last summer Ryan was a member of the team that finished third in the Summer High School Tournament in Louisville, KY.

At Madison Ryan has been a member of the JV Warhawks as a freshman and sophomore. He was a catcher on the undefeated 2004 JV Warhawks as they won the District. Ryan is a two-time Varsity Warhawk football letterman. He also wrestled as a freshman on both JV and Varsity. He joins the Varsity Warhawks this season as a junior catcher.

Ryan's thoughts on the Season: "We have worked hard in the off-season and we will do well during the season."

Coach Gjormand on Ryan: "Ryan has worked hard in the off-season conditioning program as he enters his first year of Varsity baseball. Ryan will work behind the dish and gives us good depth in the catching position. Ryan has good juice in his bat and is a player of great character."
