Josh began playing baseball in Arlington, Virginia.  After moving to Vienna, Josh played Babe Ruth. He began playing for the Vienna Mustangs as a 14 year old and was a member of the team that finished sixth in the National Championships in Orlando, FL. Josh played for the Vienna Mustangs in the Old Dominion League last summer and enjoyed an excellent tournament in the Summer High School Tournament in Louisville, KY including hitting a home run.

As a freshman, Josh was an outfielder for the Madison JV team. He made the varsity as a sophomore outfielder and showed promise as defensive player. Josh also showed signs that he will contribute significantly to the Warhawks hitting attack and returns for what should be a strong junior season.

Josh's thoughts on the Season: "If we work hard in the off season it will pay off in the regular season."

Coach Gjormand on Josh: "Josh returns for his second year on the Varsity. As Josh gets more aggressive at the plate, he has the potential to have a great junior season. Josh has the ability to play anywhere on the field but will see most of his time in left field."
