Coach Doug Wheelbarger returns for his second season as the Warhawks Outfield Coach. Doug has enjoyed much success as Assistant Baseball and Football Coach at Centreville HS. Doug is a former staff assistant with the Washington Redskins. Doug has an impressive baseball background.  As a High School player he started three years and was All-District two years. He made the All-Service Team while serving in the USMC. Doug played college baseball at James Madison University. He was a head coach in American Legion Baseball and a  head coach of a semi-pro team prior to coaching at Centreville. Coach Wheelbarger is an excellent teacher, communicator and motivator and is excited "to be part of one of the premier baseball programs in the country!" Doug enjoys playing softball with coaches from Madison and Centreville. He especially enjoys time with his family and is  proud of his two sons Brandon, a freshman playing football at Frostburg State University, and Ryan, a junior playing football at Centreville HS. Both boys have had tremendous accomplishments in football and in the classroom.

Doug's thoughts regarding this year's team: "I can't wait for that most pure of sounds - the sound of the ball off of a bat-!!"
