Richard joins Madison baseball as a varsity assistant with many years of baseball experience. He most recently was the head coach of the Marshall Statesmen program having developed several young promising players in the last few years. Richard coached baseball in Falls Church from 1974 to 1992 and in Annandale from 1993 to 1995. In 1996 and 1997, Richard coached American Legion Post 225. He joined Marshall’s program as the JV Coach in 1998 and took over the Varsity program at Marshall from 2001 to 2005. 

Richard is a graduate of Marshall High School and played baseball in High School and in the Industrial League. He is a dedicated coach and a great new addition to the Warhawks’ staff.
