Varsity Assistant Coach Infielders and Hitting

  Varsity Coach Profile

Coach Gerard Skinner made his debut as infield coach of the 2002 State Champion Warhawks. He returns for his fourth season to help lead the Warhawks back to another season of great success with a talented, veteran and athletic infield.  Gerard played baseball at Park View High School before graduating and attending Virginia Tech where he received his degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is the son of legendary Centreville Football Coach, Mike Skinner.  Gerard is obviously quite an accomplished coach himself and when he is not coaching, he serves as an engineer at Tasc, Inc.  Gerard enjoys spending time with his wife Lee Ann and their new son Andrew Garrett Skinner who arrived in October, 2005.

Gerard's thoughts regarding coaching at Madison: "The off-season hard work will pay off."
