Justin Counts returns for his sixth season as the Assistant Coach for Pitchers and Catchers. Coach Counts is a native of Vienna who was a three- sport athlete at George C. Marshall High School.  He started varsity baseball all four years and led Marshall to the Regional Championship and State Playoffs his senior season.  He was named All-District, All-Region, All-Met and All-State.  Justin was also named to the Upper Deck All-American Team with the likes of Alex Rodriguez, now of Texas Rangers fame, and A. J. Hinch of the Oakland Athletics.  Justin went on to play for the Cavaliers of the University of Virginia, where he caught for four years.  He was UVA's captain as both a junior and senior and the Cavaliers defeated Florida State to win the 1996 ACC Championship his senior year.   Justin made the NCAA All- Regional Tournament team. He spent a brief time with the New York Yankees organization.  He resides in Arlington with his wife Jean, who was his high school sweetheart, and sons Wiley, age 6, and Casey, age 5, and daughters Cameron, age 2, and Paige, age 4 months.
