Spenser's thoughts on the Season: "All the off-season work will be worth it! Now it's time to use it." Coach Gjormand on Spenser: "Spenser is in his first season on the varsity after having an outstanding sophomore season at the JV level. Spenser, who had a very good off-season in the weight room and on the track, has increased his strength and speed to give himself the opportunity to run the outfield, play some infield and increase his velocity on the mound. Spenser has been eager to learn and gives us a number of options to utilize his ability. This kid has shown early that he can swing the stick. As he gets more comfortable defensively, he will make his contribution to this year's team."
