School and Academic Recognition:

Anthony began playing baseball in Vienna as a six year-old. He joins the varsity after playing for the Warhawks JV teams as a freshman and sophomore outfielder.  Anthony was one of the leading hitters on the JV team as a sophomore and was recognized as most improved defensive player from the prior year. Anthony played fall baseball for the Senators and joins the Varsity Warhawks as a junior outfielder. He is looking forward to new learning experiences in this outstanding program.

Anthony's  thoughts on the Season: "It's going to be a fun and new experience for me to learn and play."

Coach Gjormand on Anthony: "Anthony is in his third year with the program and his first at the varsity level. He had a very successful JV season at the plate last year. Anthony has a great  work ethic and a tremendous enthusiasm for the game of baseball. His athleticism allows him to work in all three outfield positions and gives us much needed depth."
