Eric has played baseball for years in Vienna.  He played Vienna-American Little League and was a 9-10 and 11-12 all-star.  He has played Vienna Babe Ruth and travel baseball for the Bulldogs. Last summer Eric played for the Vienna Mustangs in the Old Dominion League and in the National High School Championship Tournament. Eric was a starting defensive back for the Warhawks Regional Championship football team this fall.

At Madison, Eric was a starter for the District Champion Warhawks JV team as a freshman infielder.  He made the Varsity as a sophomore and played outfield for the Warhawks making several big defensive plays in their championship run. Eric returns for his junior season hoping to continue the Warhawks success.

Eric's thoughts on the Season: "We are good."

Coach Gjormand on Eric: "Eric returns for his junior season which will be his second on the varsity. Eric saw important innings as a defensive specialist in left field for us last season. He did a great job and made some big catches for us, especially during our championship runs. Eric has great speed and can flat go get it in the outfield. We hope  to utilize his speed on the base paths more this season. Eric is working hard on improving his power and is a great team player."
