Coach Gjormand on Dan: "Dan has worked extremely hard over the past year to improve his entire game. He returns to the varsity after serving as a back-up outfielder at all three positions last spring. Dan is shining bright this spring as he competes for a starting spot in our outfield. Dan is showing the ability to drive the ball the other way and has shown great confidence in his ability to get the ball defensively and take charge. I expect Dan to be a big part of our success in '04."
