Last summer Josh played for the 15 year-old Mustangs and then played with the Mustangs last fall. Josh has played primarily as an outfielder and third baseman the last few seasons. As a freshman, Josh was an outfielder for the Madison JV team. He has worked hard in the off-season and joins the Warhawks as a sophomore outfielder.
Josh's thoughts on the Season: "Commit or Quit ." Coach Gjormand on Josh: "Josh comes to the varsity as a sophomore with a great deal of potential and a huge upside. He has worked extremely hard in the off-season to improve his strength, speed and abilities as a player. As Josh continues to improve on the field physically and mentally, he will get very comfortable and confident. Josh is a throw-back baseball player like many of our older guys in that he can play any position on the field and play it well. He will contribute to our success immediately and I look for this kid to be one heck of a player in the future."
