He led this year’s football team to a Northern Region Championship as a quarterback, punter, kicker and defensive back.  Johnny returns this baseball season as one of the best players in Northern Virginia.

Johnny's thoughts on the Season: "With 14 players returning, we are ready to dominate the District and Region and head back to Richmond with a vengeance."

Coach Gjormand on Johnny: "Johnny returns for his fourth and final season with us at the Varsity Level.  Johnny has already committed to play baseball and punt at Boston College this fall. Johnny has already had an exciting year in leading the Warhawks football team to the regional championship. I have great expectations for Johnny this season as he and his senior teammates try and lead us back to Richmond in pursuit of another ring.  As good as an athlete that I have ever coached, Johnny will also spend time on the mound this season as our closer."
