Chris began playing baseball at age 4 and has played baseball in Vienna most of his life.  He was a Little League 9-10 and 11-12 year old all-star and led the Twins to the League Championship his 12 year old year.  He played Vienna Babe Ruth the last three years and was an all-star.

As a freshman at Madison, Chris was a pitcher for the Warhawks JV team.  He played for the NVFBL Senators with many of his Madison teammates this fall when they won their Division.  Chris is a crafty right handed pitcher for the Varsity this year as a Sophomore.

Chris was Honorable Mention All-District this 2003 season.

Chris' thoughts on the Season: "We've got some young talent.  If we blend in, we'll have the potential to do something great."

Coach Gjormand on Chris: "Chris has the potential to be a great pitcher for us.  His tremendous work ethic has put him in position to contribute for us as a sophomore.  He is an intense competitor who knows how to get batters out."
